We shut down not too far from our pick up location, so we have a full days drive to Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Yay! We'll be coming around the mountains... I mean... we'll be going a-through the mountains when we goooo.
I'm hoping the next load will take us down south to Georgia or Florida or else maybe up to New York or Vermont. I need to check off some more states!
Interesting sights:
- We went under our lowest bridge today: 13' 6". Our truck is 13' 6" tall. :3
- Saw some army men and women driving some neat trucks (probably not as comfortable as our though). ;)
- Got a shot of some kids trying to get Taz to honk his air horn.
Trucking lesson of the day: Driving a semi truck on city streets is stressful! Try making a U-turn on narrow streets with impatient cars trying to cut you off to get in front of you. I have a new respect for truck drivers after today.
