THANK YOU ENDS DAY: Yael Eckstein, daughter of Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, founder/president of The Fellowship, addressed Monday evening’s dinner, thanking Journey Home Tour participants for their support of Israel. “You don’t realize the power you have as one person coming to Israel from America,” she said. “Coming to Israel is the most encouraging thing you can do – you are telling the Jewish people of Israel, ‘We stand with you.’ Thank you from my father and the whole country.”
DAY TWO’S ITINERARY: Special activities on Tuesday will include a visit to Caesarea, along the Mediterranean coast; a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee; and a much-anticipated baptismal ceremony in the Jordan River.
