A nice little family road trip which lasted for about 5 days from 27.7.2009 to 31.7.2009. We started from Medvode on the 27th at about 5am in the morning and plotted a straight path through Slovenia, Austria, Germany and Northern France to Paris. We arrived at about 8pm and exhausted from the road we called it a day. On the 28th we spent the whole day in Paris, we went to see the Notre-Dame, Versailles, La Grande Roue (Ferris wheel), Eiffel tower and much more. On the 29th we went to Le Havre where we went to see Le Havre Cathedral also known as Cathedral Our Lady. From Le Havre we went to Honfleur where we took a look at the church of Sainte-Catherine which is the largest church made entirely out of wood. From Honfleur we went to Caen and then to Mont Saint-Michael. Mont Saint-Michael is a rocky tidal island and a commune in Normandy. On the 30th we went to Utah beach ( to see where the Allied landed during the D-day invasion of Normandy), from where we started our long trip back to Slovenia.
