The journey along Milford Highway to Milford Sound is meant to be a destination in itself so, Siobhan decided to join me, and on Saturday we took a bus for 3 hours along the highway; taking us past Mirror Lakes, the Divide, Waterfalls and a beautiful Chasm. We enjoyed lunch at the Wharf and a walk up to a look out then made the return back to Te Anau. Later that evening we watched 'Ata Whenua' at the Fiorland Cinema, a dramatic piece showing the Fiordland Area from a helicopter and set to wonderful music. It was only 35 minutes but really impressive.

On Sunday Siobhan and I embarked on part of the Kepler Track for a one day 7 hour walk. It was really nice meandering uphill through a forest and the weather was great but my legs are very achy today!
