A day Whale watching on a boat in Hervey Bay was one of the best experiences yet. We saw so many Humback Whales with their calves and male escorts. They swam underneath our boat and around us, played with dolphins and performed tail slapping, spy hops and pectoral slaps. Unfortunately no breaching but this was more likely from the groups of males in August rather than mothers and calves. Amazing!
