Okay so perhaps a little more sun and a little less cloud would be good but that is the price you pay for visiting in low season.
The border crossing into Thailand was slow but not too painful. I had to wait a few hours for my connecting minibus to Ko Chang but when it arrived we had a great bunch of people on it. We arrived on the island at 8pm and I checked into Magic Garden - a really nice chilled out place with cute little beach huts and fantastic food. It would be a bonus to have a roof over my bathroom (peeing in the rain is not fun!) but I guess you can't have it all! We do however have a pet monkey called Bungee which is cool.
I've eaten some terrific seafood and am really enjoying the opportunity to relax and kick back as the past few weeks have been pretty non-stop. Few days here then it's off to Bangkok to party for my birthday...!
