Our day out at the Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 Security Prison) was a particularly emotional one, however I felt it was important to understand what the Cambodians and their country went through only 30 years ago.
We stayed at Royal Guesthouse which was cute and in the centre of town then made our way up to Siem Reap on a 6 hour day bus (which was slightly smelly and not the luxury VIP aircon bus as said on the ticket!).
