For the fourth day we chose the Nendaz valley as our destination. We started out in a slightly cloudy weather but in the middle of the way to Siviez skies cleared up completely.
From Siviez over the slope named “The slope of the fools” (Plan-du-Fou) we started to descend towards the valley where the village Nendaz is. Obviously these four valleys have some sort of a quarrel between them since the connections between them are really in a very bad condition. But I have to note that there is always an alternative to take the ski lift to the valley.
Tracouet, the peak over Nendaz is nicely organized and especially equiped for the younger skiers. There are two very nice long runs which lead to the village
When the clock was turning to 15h we had enough of Nendaz and slowly started heading back towards home. The slopes were already showing the effect of warm weather. I hope it will last for just a few days more.
The queue for a ski lift back to Thyon seemed a bit long so we took a shortcut through the woods to Veysonnaz. We finished at 17:30 on the terrace.
