Location

Topes de Collantes, Cuba

A Russian army truck took us into the mountains. It was definitely a bumpy ride, our asses still not fully recovered from the 3 hours long horse ride the day before. The nature here is really stunning but the building apartment blocks at the top of the mountain really made us wonder whose marvelous idea it was to put them up here. The guide was really into fauna and flora and coffe making, but we could not share her enthusiasm completely, sweating all over again. Swimming under the waterfall was refreshing, however all the benefits of getting all cleaned up soon disappeared when we had to climb up the mountain again.
