The hotel is magnificent, and we made sure we got our moneys worth visiting the pool, the sauna, the steamroom, the whirpool, the plunge pool then using every free toiletry we could find. A sequence I repeated again this morning after Sonny's departure.
On our final evening we decided to walk the streets of Bangkok one last time, forgetting how much it smelt. We painfully missed our camera's as we saw an Elephant had joined us in slowly strolling through Bangkok's buisness district. We got food and snacks for the room and called it an early night watching films and eating crisps in bed before falling asleep.
I tried my best to avoid Sonny's 5am wake up call and vaguely remember him saying goodbye. As we speak he is on his way back to the UK and his company will be missed, but I am looking forward to continuing my journey solo. This is my last journal entry for Thailand and I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have. Thailand is a wonderfuly bizarre and versatile place which is tailored to fit every need. I recommend it highly.
