Met a professional photographer in the Corbett Tiger Reserve, John Issac. He was easy to spot with the most awesome camera and lens with about US15,000. His words of wisdom were to just “Stop, look, and listen”. It’s the thing that he feels he has learnt to do as a photographer. He also commented that this has strong connections to the philosophies of Buddhism. Interesting to thing that in this sense photography is also concerned with living in the moment, seeing things as they are, etc.

Our driver also shared a little zen wisdom, ‘You wait fir the animals, the animals don’t wait for you’ – Patwall, driver in Corbett Tiger Reserve –
