After having a rather overcast first day on Ko Chang we have had 2 days of absolutely beautiful weather. Today we spent the day out on a baot exploring the nearby islands off Ko Chang. We went snorkelling off acouple of small islands and it was definately the best coral i have seen in Thailand and almost rivals great barrier reef in beauty and variety but not in size. We visit two beaches that were absolutely pristine with bright white sand, crystal clear water and lined with palms. It was almost too good to be true! The day started off quite overcast but by midday the sky was a clear blue and it was steaming hot! And just hot enough to give Jaree and I some decent sunburn. It was a really good day and great to be out exploring the oceans... along with every other tourist on the island of course!
We've found a thai restaurant here that does the best of every thai dish I have tasted in thailand. We've been there everyday so far and no doubt we'll go again tomorrow. The girls that work there love us! I had the best Tom Yum Goong for dinner tonight and really good green papaya salad. I am addicted to thai food and have an insatiable appetite for all of it!
So life on the island is going splendidly and now that my days are numbered I am making the most of every minute!
