We held out in Vang Vieng for good weather so we could go tubing again today but unforunately we lucked out and instead jumped on a bus to Vientiane. We're still with Sarah, Hana and our new scottish friends Jeremy and Pete but they have decided to get the 22 hour bus trip to Hanoi tonight. We all just had our last supper together and soon they will be heading off which is really sad because it has been so much fun hanging out together in Laos.
Jaree and I have checked into a backpackers, which is a first for us in Laos but necessary because there are very few good affordable options here.
We'll be hitting the markets tonight and buying lots of Laos souvenirs before heading back to Thailand in the next couple of days.
Can't believe the countdown has begun!
