Well, despite it being a couple of days since I last updated the Trip tracker I have very little to report on due to the fact that both Jaree and I have had a nasty bout of a bug which has kept us, for the most part, in bed! I spent most of saturday night awake (I don't think details are necessary here) and then made a painful and awkward trip to Chiang Mai yesterdy. Thankfully it seems only to be the 24hr type bug but unfortunately I have passed it on to Jaree whoo has spent all day in bed today. Its a shame because we had planned to visit the hot springs and do a trip down the river today as it is our only full day in Chiang Rai. I managed to have a small dinner at the Night Baazar last night which was good.
So as I said not much to report on there! We'll just have to wait it out and hopefully we'll both be recovered for our 2 days on the slow boat to Luang Prabang... could be a little awkward.
Anyhow, spirits are still high and Jaree should be better tomorrow (if my condition is anything to go by).
