We had to leave Thailand to get a new visa so we went to Burma. It took 3 hours to get to Chiang Rai and we stayed there for 2 nights. The border was an hour away on a local bus and cost us 30 baht each $1.10. We had to walk across the bridge into Myanmar (Burma ) and leave our passports with the officials then got a tour of the town in a couple of TUK TUK for 100 baht each . They took us two a couple of temples. Mum forgot the camera??????
