today a herd of yaks passed through our camping spot in the morning. we crossed a small pass and then it was downhill to about 2600 meters where we crossed the mekong. after that, surprise, surprise.. uphill again. in the late afternoon we hit a wall where they had somehow managed to carve a road in the cliff. very difficult to find camping spots in places like this. we ended up camping in some kind of quarry which is not so smart.
