Yajiang is at about 2600 m. Ahead of us we had a climb up to well over 4000 meters. We left late and Andreas had to take a lunch nap so we only did about 26 km that day. We found a nice camping place close to the road just before the pass at around 4250 m. As we were cooking dinner a police van stopped and the police tried to convince us that it was dangerous to camp there. They said there were wolves in the area and we should better come with them and sleep at the station. To our surprise they left when we said it was no problem but first they checked our sleeping bags.
