On the way over the next pass, also around 4000 m, the rain once again turned to hail. By now we also had a pretty strong headwind and progress was slow. We passed the town of Pamei where we had lunch and tried to drie our clothes and tents and then keept going for Tagong. We saw some hints that Tagong was a tourist place and on the road we dreamed about hot showers and coffee, bacon and toast for breakfast. We had been eating too little the last few days.
