Lhakang, China

In the morning it looked pretty good and we left. After just a few km it started raining and if that was not enough Andreas right front rack broke. We managed to fix the rack and surprise, surprise: the rain turned to hail and the asphalt turned to gravel and very quickly into deep mud.
A few hours of mud later (33 km..) we arrived in Dongerlou where we were tricked into a tibetan house and offered a few bowls of rice. They also tried to convince us to stay there for the night and since it was snowing hard we thought about doing so but when they said it would be 50 yuan each we became a bit uncomfortable. When we wanted to leave they wanted 50 yuan for the food instead, 10 yuan would have been a lot. We ended up paying 20 yuan just to get out of there.
