As we got closer to 4000 m we both started to feel the effects of the altitude. We had to stop often and felt a bit dizzy. Ve had heard the pass would be at around 4200 m but the road just kept going and going. Since visibility was next to nothing we couldnt see the top. It was also getting late and we got more and more frustrated at every switchback.
