The local government here in Kuwana boasts free fortnightly classes in Japanese. We had an excursion to Little World and nearby Inuyama in Gifu-ken. The former was pretty kitsch, but the crew from the school were a pretty fun bunch - many Indonesians, Chinese and a Peruvian.
