The expedition boat Cassiquiari and swimmer boat Amazon Swim 1 left Manaus late Sunday afternoon on their way to meet with Martin and the expedition team on February 23 in Tabatinga border.

The boats are equipped with special stabilized cameras platform, mobile VSAT units, and sophisticated Internet video streaming system. "Amazonswim.Com will go live on the Internet on February 23", said Yoram Yaeli, Managing Director of IIN Group (the leading technical sponsor of the expedition). "We had three teams of technicians working around the clock (on the boats) for nearly six weeks.

Our mission is to give millions of people around the world the opportunity to share the thrill of this extraordinary swim while it happens".
