Pastor Maguire and Marg’s trip to Redeemer

The Maguires are on the road to Redeemer. This is a travelogue about their adventures (or lack of adventures). Please feel free leave comments, say Hi - or point out sights they won’t want to miss on their trip. The Maguires check in daily and will try their best to keep us posted.

Keep them in your prayers as they traverse from Harlingen, Texas to Concord, MA

World’s Largest Fire Hydrant - Largest Chair

Written by Chris D  23 months ago

I can’t believe you guys stayed in Beaumont, Texas and didn’t see the World’s Largest Fire Hydrant at the Fire Museum! I hope you don’t plan on missing the World’s Largest Chair off the highway in Anniston, Alabama (off the highway). We in Massachusetts are very proud of our World’s Largest Chair in Gardner, MA - the “Chair Capital of the World”. But we were upset, and our title was stolen by the people of Alabama.

Rain, rain, go away

Hey, keep coming! Whether or not you see the World's Largest Chair, you'll still be that much closer once you go through Anniston. So, keep on trekking. We're on the watch for you. You know, like in watch and pray. This is pretty cool, being able to "talk" to you along the way. May our dear Lord continue to give you safe travel and lift your spirits as you drive in that driving rain.

Your Car has Arrived

Written by vcampelli  23 months ago

Your car was safely delivered to the Boyers around 5 PM today. Mark said it was VERY dirty. It's so neat that you are arriving in parts. I hope you have a very good night's rest after your long drive!
