Location

Leon, Spain

We really like Leon. It´s a smallish old town with friendsly people who don´t speak english. We´ve spent the day finding info about the walk to Santiago (which, we discovered, is 300kms away from here, not 200!), washing, coffee, enjoying staying in a place two nights instead of one because we don´t have to check out by 10!
So from here we probably won´t have heaps of internet access. We´ll be walking an average of 23km over 13 days along a track over 1000 years old. http://www.santiago-compostela.net/ is a site with information about each stage with photos if you´re interested.
Please pray for safety, not too much sore feet or other muscles and for rich experiences along the way. Thanks

I'm feeling tired just reading about it. can't believe it's been so long since I checked your bolg... or that you've travelled so far and seen so much since then! it was great to hear about your experiences in Croatia and Italy. we were tossing up between the two for our pfingsten (Pentecost??) holiday. sounds like Croatia is the go. looking forward to hearing about your expereinces in Spain. Have a great time. we're thinking of you Ellie
