Next time i'll visit some mountains and not so touristy places.

side trip to Guatemala to visit my aunt - and pick up some essentials she brought over for me, such as decent chocolate! :)
Was a great trip, i went with a danish friend from Tec (my uni here). We had a a few adventures - climbing an active volcano - really odd sensation walking on dry lava, sounds like snow crunching under your feet. Every now and then a bit of rock would fall out and some red hot lava spewed forth! exciting stuff, then got drenched coming down cos we waited and walked with an italian woman who walked reaaally slow and had a habit of stopping everytime she answered a question.
Also had fun with ATMs not working properly - and managed to reset one somehow.. special Kristy magic i guess :)
Spent some time in Monterrico at the beach with black sand, saw heaps of turtle hatchlings, and took a magestic early morning canal ride
