My cycle ride is from Lands end to John O'groats to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
I am a Builder from Market Drayton,father of three children, and grandfather of four. I have never really been into cycling before but have always wanted to complete this journey so have trained for over a year to be fit enough for the challenge.
I'm raising money for this charity as both my wife and sister have been unfortunate enough to have suffered with Breast Cancer.

On the 26th April 2009, I will be setting off on a cycle ride from Lands end to John O’Groats to raise money for breakthrough breast cancer . I am raising money for this charity as both my wife and sister were diagnosed with breast cancer. Thanks to the research conducted by charities like breakthrough breast cancer I am pleased to say they have both made a full recovery. Having this close experience with cancer has made me truly value the work of breakthrough breast cancer, who work relentlessly to develop safer, gentler and more efficient ways of treating breast cancer and preventing it occurring.
