Hi to all. We are currently in HCMC and off to the mea cong delta tomorrow. Weather is hot. Currently having difficulty finding a computer fast enough to down load some pics. to add to this webb page. A tech problem that I did not anticipate. Adventures so far. You will all know that Kate's flight out of Tauranga was cancelled & Kate & myself stayed over in Auckland before flying up to bangkok the following day. In addition Jillian had Kates car and it was broken into before we left. Kate lost her uniform and license. I left my video camera on the flight at bangkok. fortunately recovered. Met up with Bronni, Isaac and Heidi in sein Reap A day doing the tekmples before off on a boat trip to Battenbang. overnight in Battenbang then onto Phenom peng (forgive the spelling) I cant spell and half the keys have lost the markings. 2 night at battenbang and now at HCMC. This city is electric. its modern and in conparison to Canbodia very clean. Just been to the night markets. on the budget seen I'm way over on Steve's $100/day mark. He never did say whether is was US or NZ. If we sleep cheap it seem that we eat rich. So far acconodation has ranged from US$12-50/nightfor th family and dinner $12-$40/meal for all of us. Kate wants to give it all to the beggars. On the shopping there is a forced restraint as we know that we are going to have to carry it for the next 5 weeks. I think if there is any money left after Chang Mai it will be a big spend.up I bought a northface canel back for $6. Stuff is cheap. fanily dynamics working okay. bye to all
