| Hi, I was hoping there was a way to navigate the photos with waypoints easier as this is my favourite view and I'd like for my viewers to see this view without much digging. For example, if you look at a trip, there are photos listed at the bottom for the journal entry you are on, but when you click on it, it just shows a large version of the picture. However, if you click on the map or goto map view, and then select the journal entry, you get a nice zoom in on the waypoint of the photo, and a sidebar description, and mini photo album. I'd like this to be the default view when clicking on a journal or photo instead of a large version of the picture. If I wanted large pictures I would have just uploaded everything to flickr or picasa, what sets this website apart is this waypoint journal view. | ||

| You might me right. Automatically opening the gallery with the current trip entry when clicking on the map might solve this problem. The "Click this to view map" button and the clicking on the map on the other hand are already very obvious. I disagree on the other hand with replacing slideshow with a map. I think this navigation would be too drastic. Sometimes people just want to quickly browse through photos. Thank you for your valuable input. regards, gregor | ||

| How about leaving the photos as a regular photo gallery but make the "gallery view" the default when clicking on the map. As well whenalready in map view and clicking on the timeline? I think you overestimate some of your users, try sending your trip to your parents or grandparents and see if they can find the "gallery view" easily. | ||
