| hi, there are many annoying things i found... 1. it is impossible to say in which entry we want to add the photos, so if the photo time is wrong they go in the wrong entry 2. changing photo time changes the time of the entry as well!! this is very frustrating as it moves the entry where we don't want it to be 3. once an entry is moved back and forth in time its location cannot be entered and does not show up on the map | ||

| Philippe, hi! The problems you mention are indeed annoying. Let me try to address them... >> 1. it is impossible to say in which entry we want to add the photos, so if the photo time is wrong they go in the wrong entry This was a design decision we made. At one point, the interface allowed adding photos to a journal entry. But then it was impossible to display photos in a sensible way on the map: Photos can only be ordered by time; anything else is unnatural. We certainly didn't want to complicate things further by creating an interface in which the order in which photos are shown can be edited. To be honest, we're still figuring out the best way of "linking" photos to journal entries. >> 2. changing photo time changes the time of the entry as well!! this is very frustrating as it moves the entry where we don't want it to be Hmm. This is probably an "attempt" at being user friendly :). It also turned out to be frustrating if photos "jump" from one journal entry to another as a result of changing the time of the photo, thus, the time of the journal entry is changed as well. We may have to revise this behavior. >> 3. once an entry is moved back and forth in time its location cannot be entered and does not show up on the map This is definitely a bug. We will investigate and try to fix it as soon as possible. Thanks for your comments. They help a lot! | ||

| I think the new time line in the edit screen and improved algorithm for setting the location solves all of these problems. | ||
